![]() ![]() The social anxiety continued to get worse and worse until I finally went to another doctor who performed a blood test with the same results- except my vitamin D levels were even lower than the first time! She immediately put me on high dose vitamin D (7,000IU per day for several months and then 5,000IU daily long-term). I ended up taking it for a year but saw no difference. ![]() The doctor gave me a small dose of 400IU per day and told me to take it for a few months. I went to the doctor and got a blood test and all came back fine except my vitamin D levels were really low. I had never had any problems with anxiety in the past and had always been a social person, so I found it really weird when I started getting these symptoms. A few years ago, I started experiencing extreme social anxiety with uncontrollable trembling and heart palpitations. ![]()
